Any unfulfilled sexual fantasies?

Posted on Wednesday 31st August 2011 @ 20:46 in Q&A

Oh yes, but I expect most of them to stay that way. Some are just over-the-top and probably wouldn’t turn me on in porn, never mind real life. A few things I’ve already dabbled in and they’re much less fun in reality. Some things might be fun but it would be difficult to make them enjoyable and safe in real life, so I probably won’t. If anyone wants to book me as a hostess for a special party that might be fun, though.

What do you do if you meet the client and think – No, not for me! ?

This isn’t likely to happen. Appearance isn’t an issue for me (honestly; I do find some people prettier than others, but that’s no indication of how much I’d enjoy having sex with them). Someone’s manner could put me off, but generally any oddness is just nerves or awkwardness which isn’t a problem. Very occasionally we get down to business and it just doesn’t work. I’m not very good with that since I don’t detach myself when I work, but I do my best and hope they won’t want to book again.

Happy Birthday to me

Posted on Wednesday 31st August 2011 @ 17:25 in Personal

It was my birthday last weekend. It usually falls on the bank holiday weekend and I try to figure out where I can go that’s quiet because if I’ve got all my friends around I want to be able to talk to them, but having it at home is a lost cause because Brighton people are mostly too lazy to come to my house. This year (after I think three years of not getting around to arranging anything) I realised that I should be having a day time event. I can’t believe it took me until 28 to think of that. I also went to a burlesque night that some friends were involved with on the night of my actual birthday which confused people, but I still got a good turn-out the next day at one of my favourite cafés and it was lovely. The only problem was that the seating was too comfy and I was too tired to take everyone to the barn dance I’d just heard about.

On Sunday my housemate and I went to our first Mass. We’re not religious, but we like music and incense and things and I think that’s pretty much fine as far as the Church of England goes. The priest welcomed us to the Church and asked us to write down our address (he also asked some other things, but didn’t establish whether or not we believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God in mortal form who was crucified for us and arose on the third day and ascended to heaven). Now my housemate is worried that he’s going to turn up and baptise us, but hopefully Anglicans are too lazy to come to my house too.

Which politician would you take to bed if you could?

Whichever would make the best client! I rarely get celebrity crushes and there aren’t any politicians who’ve caught my eye.

Would you ever consider doing a tour so those of us in other parts of the UK would get to see you?

Posted on Monday 22nd August 2011 @ 09:50 in Q&A

I’ve considered touring but I may be too lazy. I used to "tour" in Brighton every so often when I didn’t have anywhere to do incalls unless I booked a hotel room or holiday flat and that was quite fun, but doing it that way saved me from having to do much extra marketing, which is a part of the job I don’t enjoy.

Maybe I’ll get around to it some time. Answering this now has got me considering combining Bristol/Bath with my next trip to Wales. Both good cities to tourist about in if I completely screw up the business side :).

Do you mean just for fun, or as a tour? For touring see the next question. For fun, I don’t know, do you have any suggestions?

Do u do tickling and are your feet ticklish?

Posted on Sunday 21st August 2011 @ 00:50 in Q&A

I do like a bit of tickling sometimes. In non-sexual situations I’m annoyingly good at staying in control, but when I’m aroused I often get ticklish in a nice way. Almost any part of my body can get ticklish when that happens, it seems quite random, but my feet are sensitive so I expect they’d always respond if you had a go.

(Now with 30% more bowdlerisation) Do you find pejorative terms such as "prostitute" offensive, or do you willingly embrace them in the same way that some black people adopt the N-word?

Posted on Saturday 20th August 2011 @ 11:49 in Q&A

I don’t see “prostitute” as a pejorative; certainly not in the same way that the N-word is. It’s main meaning is someone who has sex in exchange for money, which is what I do. It’s often used negatively, but that’s because people consider having sex for money as a negative thing. I don’t and I’m not ashamed of what I do, so I also don’t have a problem calling myself a prostitute or being called one.

That said, it’s not the word I use when someone asks what my job is, because it does have baggage and it seems a bit impolite to throw it into the conversation like that. I haven’t found a perfect word for that situation; I often say “escort” out of habit, but that can be awkward when they think they know what I mean but don’t want to suggest that I’m a prostitute (or even think that going to dinner with people might be a real job), so then I have to assure them that it’s definitely sexual.

I do use “prostitute” quite often on forums because it covers all segments of the business. Also when newbies are involved I think it’s useful as a reality check if they’re a bit Belle-eyed, and might help to stop them developing into the kind of hooker who comes up with silly distinctions to explain why when she has sex for money it isn’t prostitution.

In the previous version of this question you mentioned “whore” (which I’m sure formspring didn’t like), and I think that’s somewhat like the N-word. I’m happy to see that reclaimed and I had a phase of it myself, but it has a harsh sound and I couldn’t properly get on with it. Like the N-word it’s one that you can use if you’re a whore yourself, or perhaps if you’re a close friend who can get away with that sort of thing, but if you use it from the outside it’s going to come across as an insult and not cool whatever your intent.

Thursday-and-a-bit photos: Pride 2011

Posted on Friday 19th August 2011 @ 18:55 in me,Personal,Pictures

Not as exciting as previous years I’m afraid. I don’t think I’ll ever feel like doing Pride in tassels again. It’s fun to go out in them and have them twirl while I walk, but even when I was younger and loved getting attention I still got sick of being stopped for pictures every other moment.

This year’s theme was “out of this world”, but I really wanted to wear the bloomers I’d just made, which tend to look beachy, so,

Unfortunately the bloomers look like baggy boxers from that angle.

You can see them properly here, and the sea! But the picture isn’t that nice.

I didn’t stay out all night, so on Sunday I took my housemate out walking in the Downs. She thought I’d look picturesque in front of the cows.

Pride and Sunday walks. We’re like old people who are still cool.

I hope you all have a nice weekend. I’ll be off to Wales next week so I might not have a picture next Thursday.

It’s almost Friday and I forgot again!

Thursday photo: white suit no tassles

This is a few years old, it’s from a birthday celebration of the Candy Bar Brighton (yep, related to the one in London that has a series on Channel 5 now, though I got the impression they were fairly different venues), where Sirens used to be. It was about a week after the third ever Sirens, which was the first I’d danced at. Kim, the owner, had decided to have Rebecca provide some pole dancers, but didn’t tell her until the night before, so she asked me about it in the afternoon. I was at a hotel doing incalls that week and didn’t have time to go home, but I had some appropriate gear with me so I went along. Anyway, it’s a cool picture :).

71 miles

Posted on Wednesday 3rd August 2011 @ 11:53 in Personal

I made it around my route, plus a bit extra. About the first thing that happened (4 miles in) was that I hit a bee with my eyelid so it stung me. It wasn’t as bad as it sounds, but I made a detour to get to a pharmacy and that brought me up to 71 miles. I like that number, it sounds pretty close to the 80 mile daily average I’ll be doing in May.

My route was really lovely for about 40 miles, skirting north of Lewes, around Fletchling and Horstead Keyes. I picked some roads with hardly any traffic, lots of great views and cottages and greenery, and the weather was lovely too. I stopped for lunch at Ardingly reservoir and ate too much which seriously impeded my peddling; I’m still working out how to refuel well without filling up. A bit after that I crossed the A23 and the western bit of the route wasn’t so good, partly because I’d forgotten that you can’t trust Google maps when it comes to small roads. Really, it has grassy footpaths labelled as roads, how does that happen? Anyway, that was interesting but made the tiredness kick in, and the roads to get me back to Ditchling Beacon weren’t so nice. I got there though, and then I got up to the top! I was making harder work of it than any other time and wanted to tell everyone I’d already done 65 miles, but I made it and didn’t think I was going to die or anything. Then downhill most of the way home but with no inclination to race down Lewes Road, so I ended my ride with a proper cool-down for the first time. That was good! My legs felt better in the evening than when I did 50 miles.

They felt ok the next day too, but I noticed a big difference in power riding to Henfield. I took the short route back for the first time in a couple of months, so I’ve got a way to go with endurance since I’m going to have to do more than Monday’s ride six times in a row.
